Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers spoke out about her past relationship with Congressman Anthony Weiner with Mediaite’s Tommy Christopher and how she believed his communications with various women demonstrated misogynistic behavior.
Today she appeared on CNN Reliable Sources and told Howard Kurtz she couldn’t stay silent on his behavior just because Weiner was a former friend.

Actually, this is a woman (Kirsten Powers) , who is both a liberal and a democrat giving her opinion. And her opinion is based on knowing him, both as they dated for a time, and based on what he told her while the scandal was going on.
Her political positions and career are impeccable. Talking head? Or insider?

If Ms. Powers feels that her ex is a liar and misogynist, then there's no grounds to contest these attributions.
However, I find the use of that word "sociopathy" is contextuality inaccurate and theatrical. As someone who has worked and currently volunteers in the mental health services, I have deep concerns with the popular vision of such people. The flawed and casual use of "sociopath" and "psychopath" routinely brands the mentally ill as untreatable and dangerous, and are bandied about to excuse their abuse, ostracization, and incarceration. Frankly, the word in common usage has simply become a perfumed synonym for "evil," and has precisely as much analytic value unless tremendous effort and care are put into defining terms precisely.
